Why Join?

Thank you for investing your time, energy and dollars in the community of Chatfield.

It is through people like you and your business or non-profit that Chatfield continues to be a vital community.

We would be pleased to include you and your business in the work of the Chatfield Commercial Club.

 

The Commercial Club was begun by visionary leadership over 60 years ago. It continues to be the organization that promotes community engagement, scholarships, and business and non-profit work right here in Chatfield.

The goal of the Commercial Club is to work with each other to better ourselves and our community. Through dues and fundraising, the Commercial Club is able to award a

$500 Scholarship to a graduating senior

​

And sponsor these community activities:

  • Chatfield Public Schools Staff & Teacher Welcome Breakfast

  • Graduating Senior Celebration Supper

  • Cookies and Milk with Santa

  • Easter Egg Hunt & Festival

  • Downtown Halloween Trick and Treat

  • Trash and Treasure Day

 

Dues also help fund:

  • The Chatfield Banner Fund

  • Western Days

  • The Student Loan Fund for post secondary classes

  • CCTV

  • The Chatfield Float

Commercial Club meetings are at noon on the third Thursday of the month at various businesses or restaurants in town. You are welcome to promote your business at one of these meeting times. During any stay at home order meetings will be conducted via Zoom, you will be invited to join a Zoom meeting prior to the next meeting via an email from revdeb54@gmail.com.

As a member of Commercial Club you will be joining your neighbors and colleagues in promoting a strong business and non-profit environment in Chatfield.

​

The Commercial Club also prints and distributes Chatfield Dollars as a means of putting money back into our business. They are sold in $5 and $20 increments, and can be deposited in both Root River State Bank adn F & M Bank in Chatfield. You can treat them the same as cash while shopping in Chatfield, but please endorse the back when depositing at the bank. 

 

We ask that if you join the Commercial Club you display your membership sign so that everyone knows you are a member and will accept Chatfield Dollars.

Dues Information:

​

Utilities and Big Businesses: $160

Medium - Larger Businesses: $60

Individual: $25

​

A $10 donation to the senior dinner is included in your dues
